International French Summer School in Brussels

Improve your French this summer: Sign up for a three week program with experienced teachers from July 15th to August 4th 2023

The program comprises 60 hours of live lessons with experienced French teachers and conferences (Belgian music, cinema, contemporary Art, multiculturalism, linguistics). The courses have linguistic and cultural purposes : practice oral and writing skills and discover and study French and Belgian cultures and literatures.

The courses are organized by the Faculty of Letters of the ULB. Lessons take place from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 1:00pm and from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.

Program
Courses and conferences will take place in ULB Solbosch, Brussels.

Written and oral exams will be demanded before the beginning of the classes to make sure that the students will be in the right group.

Group 1
Oral practice (16h), written practice (16h), grammar (14h), language training workshops (8h), Belgian literature (4h), conferences (2h).

Group 2
Oral practice (16h), written practice (8h), language training workshops (8h), grammar (12h), Belgian literature (6h), text analysis (6h), conferences (4h).

Group 3
Oral practice (16h), written practice (8h), language training workshops (8h), grammar (12h), Belgian literature (6h), text analysis (6h), conferences (4h).

Group 4
Oral practice (16h), written practice (14h), grammar (12h), Belgian literature (10h) conferences (8h).

Target group

There are no “absolute beginner” classes
The courses can be attended from 16 years old.
