About
The study and understanding of skeletal muscle physiology and metabolism is a stimulus and challenge of the 21st century. Indeed, both physical activity and nutrition are becoming predominant aspects when it comes to risk prevention. Not only that, there is ample evidence that exercise and various nutritional plans can play a decisive role in improving the quality of life of many patients suffering from various diseases (e.g. Alzheimer's, Parkinson's). It is therefore becoming increasingly important to have a thorough understanding of both the physiology and the various training methods possible, both in the area of risk prevention and rehabilitation.
